Mission Statement
B Parents for CI is a grassroots organization that was created by parents, for parents. We want to support, protect, and strengthen the Chinese Immersion (CI) program in Barrington. We are everyday families who joined together in response to district changes, determined to ensure that all voices matter and that the true value of CI is visible to everyone.
We are committed to building a welcoming, inclusive space where all Barrington families can connect, learn, and advocate. Our work is rooted in the belief that transparency and honest communication empower our community. By providing open access to information and fostering dialogue, we strive to make the benefits of dual-language learning accessible, appreciated, and understood throughout Barrington.

B Parents for CI stands for Barrington Parents for Chinese Immersion in district 220.
We are a group of Barrington parents united by our commitment to the Chinese Immersion (CI) program and its continued success.
We came together to ensure that the voices and experiences of families are represented and heard. Our group is passionate about empowering families, sharing information openly, and advocating for the benefits and joys of dual-language learning.
We believe that transparency and collaboration strengthen our schools and community. By connecting families and providing clear, accurate information about the CI program, we strive to build understanding, foster inclusion, and support all students interested in linguistic and cultural enrichment.
